RAPID TRANSIT DISTRICT

Assemblyman James Mills has suggested that use of local railroad right of ways be studied. This would indicate that the SD&AE right of way might eventually be used to speed passengers from the South Bay and areas served by the La Mesa branch. The Santa Fe's right of way would be right in line to serve the beach areas. (SD Union)
