THIS ISSUE

Copies of this issue are being mailed to members of the Pacific Railroad Society, just as PSRMA members received copies of their publication. "Wheel Clicks," recently.

He hope that this special issue gives PRS members, as well as our own, an idea of why the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum Association was formed. Here are our trials, hopes, and ambitions, for a greater interest in preserving the once common railroad equipment which is fast disappearing from the scene.

Since the "Report" usually carries museum news items and news of what is happening on the local lines this is an unusual publication. We hope you enjoy what you find here. Happy New Year!

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF

In November the Santa Fe derailed about 16 cars between Broadway and Market Street. The rains caused it, they say. Well they did it again. An inbound train early Saturday morning, December 17, derailed some cars, a hopper and piggy-flat overturned in "G" Street.
